electrosurfeit

lots of cool new toys and games recently:
  • asus eee pc - it meets all expectations...keyboard is tiny, but the display is gorgeous
  • hellgate: london - diablo meets guild wars...mediocre, but entertaining
  • aqua teen hunger force zombie ninja pro-am - one of the best licensed games i've played...everything you could ever hope to have in a licensed game
  • guitar hero 3 - excellent improvements, mostly good songs. unfortunately, needing to complete cooperative to get all the songs is very lame
  • the dracula x chronicles - outstanding port of the legendary pc engine title, complete with lots of fun unlockables
  • metal gear solid: portable ops - haven't had much time to dig in, but it looks as promising as the home versions
more to come soon too; rock band, portal ops expansion, mass effect, mario galaxy, etc...

GH3: you'd think that it would be easy to have a stand-alone wii LP controller available, bastards. Casadelabella is displeased.

I couldn't get used to MGS: PO, the control was off and hte gameplay wasn't nearly as exciting as any of the series games. It reminds me more of Metal Gear Acid with the traditional engine.
